The Tournament of Power is about to kick-off; but first, Future Zen-Oh wants a demonstration. In the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super," Goku will be hard-pressed to satisfy the Omni-King's request since no one seems to be especially willing to join his team.

After reminding Present-day Zen-Oh of their previous talk about organizing an all-universe tournament, Goku has consequently tickled Future Zen-Oh's fancy. Apparently, the latter Omni-King has not yet seen a Martial Arts Tournament before and would like to first see a preview of what he is signing up for.

The promo for the next episode of the popular Japanese anime series shows Goku paying his eldest son, Gohan, a visit, seemingly to ask the bespectacled scholar to join him in the pre-tournament battle. Gohan seems torn between saying "yes" and telling his insistent father to let him be. However, following his stint as the Great Saiyaman and his widely publicized fight with the possessed actor Barry Kahn, Gohan's peace-loving nature may not be so inclined to say "no" anymore.

The trailer also serves to confirm what the title has so boldly hinted: that losing in the tournament means the destruction of the defeated teams' universes. It seems that Beerus' seemingly paranoid warnings to Goku in the previous episode were not just the ramblings of an anxious God after all.

Then again, Beerus did also remark that Goku's naiveté was just as dangerous as the Zen-Ohs' innocence. Will Goku's nature then serve as an advantage for Universe 7, or will it only add to the Zen-Ohs' innocently destructive mandate? Will there be a way to pull this ultimatum down a notch, or will Goku simply nod his head and agree to it with a confident smile?

Todd Blankenship, a renowned source for translated materials about "Dragon Ball Super," has shared a translation of the synopsis of episode 78 published on the recent "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine. According to this source, the preview battle will be against Universe 9, and Goku will be allowed to bring along no more than two of his strongest allies. Will he succeed in convincing Gohan to come with him, and who will his second ally be?

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 78 airs on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
