'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' DLC Pack 2 news update: expansion out next month with free update; screenshots released
The second downloadable content (DLC) pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has been confirmed by Bandai Namco Entertainment for a February release.
To prepare for the imminent arrival of the DLC Pack 2, the developer released some screenshots so fans would have a better idea of what the expansion has in store.
As revealed before "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 2 will mark the arrival of Vados and Champa, who played a crucial role in the Universe 6 Saga story arc in the anime, "Dragon Ball Super."
Also known as the God of Destruction Champa Saga, this arc saw Champa put together a team of fighters from his universe to tackle a group of warriors from Universe 7 that in turn, Beerus assembled for a tournament that holds Super Dragon Balls as the prize.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 2 will add a new chapter inspired by this story arc. It will also include the Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 tournament stage as seen in the anime to complete the experience.
Champa and Vados are seen in action in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" screenshots provided by Bandai Namco. The description for the DLC Pack 2 is as follows:
"The history has been altered and the God of Destruction Champa approaches Conton City!" Players will also get "new attacks, new costumes, new vehicle and many more new contents."
The DLC Pack 2 will come with a "big" free update, which includes a whole host of goodies including five each of new costumes, accessories and new attacks.
There will also be new background music tracks and a costume for reward in the world tournament. Interestingly, a new rule is also being added there.
