Earl Hayes and Stephanie Moseley Dead: Floyd Mayweather Witnesses Murder Suicide

In a horrific incident Stephanie Moseley, star of the VH1 show "Hit the Floor", has been shot dead by her husband Earl Hayes, who then committed suicide. Recent reports have also indicated that Floyd Mayweather Jr. witnessed the killings via FaceTime and tried to convince Hayes not to kill his wife.

Neighbors of the couple first reported that they heard a woman's screams followed by gunshots. After police and a SWAT team arrived they discovered that Hayes had killed Moseley and then turned the gun on himself.

While no motive has been officially provided for Hayes murdering his wife, many websites have speculated that he suspected her of seeing another man. According to TMZ, the third party in their relationship was Trey Songz and Hayes killed her after he allegedly discovered her infidelity. After their deaths Songz posted a tribute to Moseley on his Twitter account but did not confirm or deny any of the rumors about his relationship with the star.

VH1 also released a statement saying that "We are incredibly saddened to hear news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley, and we send our condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time."

Following Moseley's death, TMZ reported that boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, who had one time employed Hayes, was contacted by him via FaceTime. Hayes then shot Moseley a dozen times even though Mayweather tried to talk him out of it. TMZ also says that the boxing attended a LA Clippers game a few hours later. However, since then TMZ has reported that the police are looking to question him about the shooting.

Moseley had acted in several films including "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" and currently has a small role in the series "Hit the Floor". However, she has also toured as a backup dancer for several artists including Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Usher, Mariah Carey and Rihanna.
