After having previously announced that the next "The Elder Scrolls" installment is "years and years away," Pete Hines, Bethesda's vice president for PR/marketing, recently said that he will no longer be giving out details about "The Elder Scrolls 6" until the game is formally launched.

Answering a follower on Twitter, Hines wrote, "I am not giving out any information about TES6 until we formally reveal it."

Speaking about the two other projects Bethesda has said are also in development, Hines said, "Not giving any hints on their future projects."

"We aren't working on TES6 at the moment," Hines told an "Elder Scrolls" fan late last month. He also said that the game is too far off in the future to have an estimated release date.

While very little is known about "The Elder Scrolls 6," many fans expect the next installment to be set in Argonia.

The region, which is also known as Black Marsh, is just one of the nine provinces that make up the continent of Tamriel in the game.

For now, "Elder Scrolls 6" seems to have been relegated to the backburner, with Bethesda focusing on "Elder Scrolls Online" and the new "Skyrim Remastered."

Recently, Hines also spoke up on social media to defend the $60 price tag for "Skyrim Remastered," which many thought to be too much for a remaster.

Remasters of popular games typically cost less than full-priced all-new games. However, those who wish to play "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Remastered" have to pay for the remaster at full price even if they already have the original game.

Hines defended the new Bethesda offering's expensive price, saying that those who don't want what the remaster is offering don't have to buy it.

"A full game w all DLC and mod support and updated graphics running on two new consoles," he wrote in response to a Twitter query. "If you don't want that, don't buy it."

"The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Remastered" comes out Oct. 28 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
