Eminem new album 2016 rumors: September release not confirmed
It has been a while since multi-awarded rapper Eminem has put out an album, and fans have been clamoring for a new release. However, up to this point, the 43-year-old has not made any announcement regarding his highly speculated 2016 album. As a result, Eminem fans are not updated on his ongoing work, and all forms of speculations have been coming up.
A lot of reasons have been explored as to why no word has been heard of Eminem's album for 2016, if indeed there is one on the way. The silence around this has been so palpable that there have been claims made on the rapper's alleged bankruptcy.
This rumor has been shot down, with a report revealing the rapper's net worth to be a whopping $190 million. The Real Slim Shady, as the rapper is sometimes referred to, does not rely merely on his rapper record-making prowess and has other business ventures he is involved in, such as his partnership with StockX.
Speaking of StockX, an online trading market for limited-edition products, it has also been mentioned that Slim Shady has been very much involved with the business that he has not been able to devote much time to his music.
Marshall Mathers, the rapper's real name, has spoken about this. He shared this is his other passion besides music. He claimed that sneakers, which is one of the products of this venture, is a "huge interest" of his. He said that he has been into it as long as he has been into his music. He also spoke of his pleasure working along with such big names as Nike and the Jordan brand.
Mathers is also said to be occupied with the upcoming "Suicide Squad" for DC and Marvel, which will be released soon in August. With his attention focused on this project, it is said that he has not had time for finishing a new album.
None of these reasons has been confirmed though as to why there is no news still of Eminem's 2016 album. But there have been unofficial reports that put the release of the much awaited album sometime in September. The new album is said to feature collaborations with Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Dr. Dre.
