Bethesda Softworks prepares for the imminent release of the final "Fallout 4" downloadable content (DLC) called "Nuka World" with a new patch.

As revealed in the patch notes posted on Steam, the latest "Fallout 4" patch – officially called 1.7 update – comes with support for "Nuka World."

There is no specific release date for the expansion pack yet, but it is expected to be released sometime this month. This will also explain why Bethesda tucked in the support needed for it.

The "Fallout 4: Nuka World" DLC will serve as the final expansion pack for the beloved action role-playing video game. With that said, it will offer expansive content.

"Nuka World," as the name suggests, is set in a Nuka Cola-themed amusement park where a dangerous group known as Raiders flocked and eventually took ever for nefarious schemes.

The official description of the "Fallout 4: Nuka World" DLC is as follows:

Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures, and more. Enjoy the ride!

Previous rumors suggested that "Nuka World" is not the end of the "Fallout 4" DLC lineup despite Bethesda insisting otherwise.

It seemed that at least for voice actress Courtenay Taylor, the highly-anticipated DLC is indeed the end. In a recent Twitter post, she implied that the work for "Fallout 4" expansion packs is done.

GamingBolt says that "Fallout 4: Nuka World" already being the last DLC is a bit of a bummer, especially since the "Far Harbor" DLC, the biggest content to date, did not exactly live up to its promise.

Either way, there's a lot of work cut out for Bethesda outside the "Fallout" franchise as two new intellectual properties are on the table as well as the long-awaited "Elder Scrolls 6."
