'Fallout 4' to make its way to virtual reality with HTC Vive
Easily one of the best games in recent years, "Fallout 4" is a staple for gamers who want an excellent game but a very challenging one that has replay value.
Bethesda Softworks have done that in "Fallout 4," which was released in different consoles and has been met with very positive reviews and results as it continues to be one of the most played games today.
Most recently, the company and their developers made a big announcement that states it would bring the game to virtual reality through the HTC Vive headset when it comes out in 2017.
This has sent a lot of fans on a frenzy as the open-world game will be the first of its class to have an official game used in virtual reality.
Of course the development of the game can be very stressful, with the adaptation of the game towards a person's point of view, movement and response time should always be checked.
In the game, characters chat through text overlays but that has to be modified in the VR version to keep with the "reality" look.
However, one of the things to look forward to is the game's Pip-Boy, which should be perfect for a VR mode and should translate from the game seamlessly.
This is extremely exciting news for fans as they may now take a first-hand experience on what it takes to be in the world of a game, with "Fallout 4" being a very challenging mission to accomplish.
Bethesda also teased that Doom may possibly be in the works with a virtual reality mode, but that is still sketchy. There are no official statements that a game will be made like "Fallout 4," but there is hope that if this game is a success, Bethesda will concentrate on bringing the game to VR.
