Following the kerfuffle brought about by voice actor Ryan Alosio's messing around on his social media about the possible start of production for "Fallout 5," the internet has become lit up with speculations that just maybe, at least brainstorming for the sequel has already begun.

"Fallout 4" is just merely a year old but fans of the action, role-playing video game may already be looking forward to the next iteration in the franchise. With the last expansion pack for the game in Nuka World having hit the public this August, it might actually be time to properly entertain the thought of a "Fallout 5." That being said, communities and online forums are chock-full of ideas from gamers as to what they are hoping that the upcoming title will bring to the table.

It is no secret that despite the clamor from the fans brought about by the great critical response to the ongoing franchise, barring some technical difficulties, Bethesda has actually been very careful about speaking too early in terms of where the title will go moving forward. Recently, a trend in terms of video games lean toward fleshing out current iterations for microtransactions or branching out to spinoff games. As for "Fallout," the game-developing company behind it is actually already looking to translate the current title into a virtual reality-compatible game, which has generated so much excitement since the announcement.

Should this be the case, it is possible that "Fallout 5" will be coming already sporting the feature. The only caveat in this situation is that it may take more time for Bethesda to incorporate the video-gaming fad to the title causing a longer period of wait time for fans. Still, if they will be able to make the feature work for the upcoming gameplay, then fans may be a little bit lenient and understanding of the delay.

Location also plays a pivotal role in terms of the overall feel of a "Fallout" game, so naturally, it is one of the most theorized angles for any forthcoming installment. The frontrunner setting for the fifth main iteration of the game includes New Orleans and the classic coast backdrops of New York and California.
