'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2' rumors, spoilers, news: next adventure may head to Paris
For a spin-off prequel that has just started and managed to gross globally with $474 million and possibly outpace one of its source materials from the Harry Potter series, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" in its all glorious form, still has a lot to tell — and that is something that Warner Bros. can truly take advantage of.
Spearheaded by Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne and the shocker of an inclusion, Johnny Depp, the saga is now a guaranteed powerhouse. And so, the production company along with the cast are en route to a majestic ride and should enjoy the spectacle that is about to befall the wizarding world.
The fans, on the other hand, are likewise on a thrilling ride as the upcoming installment, currently dubbed "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2," is now up with even more exciting storylines and revelations.
Following is a rundown of all things "Fantastic Beasts" and its long future to come.
According to Gulf News, "Fantastic Beasts 2's" new adventure will be heading to Paris. A self-confessed Francophile herself, author J. K. Rowling has always wanted to feature the location in the film adaptations. Meanwhile, producer David Heyman has shared via Collider, "The next one's going to be Paris. We'll see the world expand. We'll go through the 20's, and into the 30's and 40's, and maybe beyond."
True-blue "Harry Potter" fans would remember that Rowling has introduced French characters in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Strong French characters like Fleur Delacour and Madame Maxime might very well be her initial offerings as to what the French Wizarding community may look like in the second installment.
In addition, the French version of London's Ministry of Magic and New York's Macusa may also pop up in the forthcoming entry of "Fantastic Beasts."
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" is scheduled to bow in theaters on Nov. 16, 2018.
