With "Fast 8" currently on its final days of production, the film's cast and crew posted one final cast photo from the set along with a sign-off letter and an announcement regarding the film's upcoming trailer.

Unfortunately, while the "Fast 8" family has been generous with updates, social media snaps, and Fast Fridays, fans will have to wait a few more months for the film's first official trailer. According to the latest Fast Friday announcement, the "Fast & Furious 8" trailer is set to be released in December.

In the "Fast 8" family's final Fast Friday post, the cast and crew thanked those who have supported the film throughout filming in Cuba, Iceland, New York, and Atlanta. The team also expressed gratitude to "Fast and Furious 8" star and producer Vin Diesel, as well as to cast members from previous films Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Dwayne Johnson, Elsa Pataky, Jason Statham, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Kurt Russell. The post also named newcomers Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren, and Kristofer Hivju.

In addition, the Final Friday post paid tribute to the late Paul Walker, who starred in the first seven films in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, before thanking director F. Gary Gray, writer Chris Morgan, producers Neal Moritz and One Race Films, and the film's crew members.

"All of us take our work on 'Fast & Furious' seriously, and we seriously intend to wow the world again," the post concluded. "We'll be back in December with your first look at what we've created for you."

Meanwhile, after going on an Instagram rant about his male co-stars in "Fast 8," Johnson appears to have cooled down somewhat. In an Instagram post announcing his final week of shooting for "Fast 8," the actor wrote: "You guys reading this know how much I believe in the idea of TEAM EFFORT. That means respecting every person, their time and their value when they step on to my set or partner with our production company. And like with any team – that's a family – there's gonna be conflict. Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs."

"Fast 8" arrives in theaters on April 14, 2017.
