'Fear the Walking Dead' season 3 air date, spoilers: Erickson teases what's to come
Many are looking forward to the return of "Fear The Walking Dead" as it is expected to bring chaos to the small screens.
After the tragic finale of season two, fans are curious about what will take place in the episodes to come, now that many of the characters are out in the wild exploring. Producer of the series David Erickson teased that this could bring about new characters as the groups will definitely encounter other groups throughout their journey.
With that, some speculate that familiar faces such as Alex could be making appearance in the series. Alex was last seen left in the middle of the ocean after Strand cut off the ties with her boat. Erickson teased, "I feel like there are certain characters that are out there. They're in play. They're definitely not dead. I think Alex is alive. I think Jack is alive. It's nice, in a way, because it means, as we continue to break, we could break Season 3, if there are opportunities to bring more characters into the fold, we can do that."
Aside from that, many are expecting some development from Travis, played by Cliff Curtis since he is still mourning the loss of his son Chris, played by Lorenzo James Henrie. Erickson explained that this will trigger some changes to Travis, since the season finale ended with him killing those who killed his son.
When asked if Travis opened a harsher kind of personality, Erickson said, "I think that you can't cross that line and then go back. That's not to say he's not going to protect Madison or be protective of her and Alicia, but he's going to go about that in a much, much different way."
"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3 returns to AMC sometime in 2017.
