'Final Fantasy XV' release date news 2016: Series creator urges fans to watch the movie to enjoy upcoming game

Many fans are excited about the upcoming release of "Final Fantasy XV." The game is scheduled to launch on Sept. 30, and while the rollout date gets nearer, fans and critics have continued to share their prediction on what to expect once the game hits the shelves. Game developer Square Enix has also done a wonderful job in hyping up the game by releasing bits of details every now and then. One of the most interesting information revealed by the company is the addition of the virtual reality or VR technology to the game.

According to a report by International Business Times, "Final Fantasy XV" was recently demonstrated with the VR system at the Japan Expo 2016 in France. During the event, a user was given the opportunity to play the game and take control of the character, Prompto. The player was allowed to shoot at enemies while wearing the VR gear. Some footages of the event were posted on YouTube.

Some of the fans expected the game to mesh well with the VR technology; however, tech experts have a different observation. According to speculations, the game does not work well with the system, which recently caused some concerns from critics.

Nonetheless, the company is pretty positive about the reception of the majority of the fans once the game hits the market.

Meanwhile, the movie version of "Final Fantasy XV," has recently been released in Japan garnering good positive reviews from fans and critics. In a report by Dual Shocker, "Final Fantasy" franchise creator Hironobu Sakaguchi has left a message to fans to watch the "Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive" so that they will have a better understanding of the new game.

The film, which is scheduled to arrive on Aug. 19, focuses on the series' four main characters.
