'For Honor' PC requirements news: hardware upgraded may be needed to install game, see details here
The PC requirements of "For Honor" has just been revealed by Ubisoft, prompting some players to upgrade their cards due to the processor and graphics processing unit (GPU) capabilities required for the game. On the other hand, the minimum requirement may suffice a good gaming experience.
The minimum specs requirement of "For Honor" is as simple as a GPU of either Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or an AMD Radeon HD 6970, aside from a processor of Intel Core i3-550 or an AMD Phenom II X4 955. Fortunately, it only needs a smaller space of GB of random-access memory (RAM), a Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 versions, and the traditional mouse and keyboard accessories. However, to make it more enjoyable, the PC can be coupled with DualShock 4, an Xbox One controller or any third-party gaming hardware.
The only thing that will surely concern the gamers is the hardware space requirement of 50 GB. It is good to note though, that the minimum requirement will only render 720p at 30 fps of output, which is the lowest settings of the game.
The recommended requirements necessitate an Intel i5-2500K or an AMD FX-6350 processor and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 or an AMD Radeon R9 280X graphics card. Since it will give a high-definition finish, at least 8 GB of RAM is needed.
Both the minimum and the recommended requirements have a disabled v-sync so those who want to enable it may want to upgrade to a high-end hardware.
"For Honor" is a multiplayer game that allows players to create a team of three as they battle against one another. Players can also choose between being a Viking, a Samurai or a soldier. The title is scheduled to arrive on Feb. 14 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC.
"Enter the chaos of a raging war as a bold knight, brutal viking, or mysterious samurai, three of the greatest warrior legacies. For Honor is a fast-paced, competitive experience mixing skill, strategy, and team play with visceral melee combat," the game description reads.
