'Forza Horizon 3' rumors, update: Motorbikes coming in new DLC?
Open world racing video game "Forza Horizon 3" is introducing something new to its players. A new DLC (downloadable content) is coming soon and though nothing has been revealed yet, reports said that motorbikes could be added to the vehicle roster.
As detailed in the game's official website, the title is going to add something that developer Playground Games has never done before. Based on that hint, several have speculated that perhaps they will putting in motorbikes or quad bikes since it's really something different.
Although it may seem like a fun idea, there are some who discounted the theory because of the nature of the game. "Forza Horizon" mainly deals with different car models. Adding a two-wheeled vehicle or an all-terrain vehicle will make it a different game.
A roofless vehicle will also mean that Playground Games has to animate riders further. Currently, the drivers in the game are barely animated. It's doubtful that the video game company will decide to put that much effort in animating just for a DLC.
So what is really coming? Nothing is certain yet but speculations are rife that the DLC could contain racing trucks. There could also be cars with unique or crazy designs, something that fans have never seen before.
In other news, "Forza Motor 3" just recently received an update on the Xbox One and PC. It came along with performance improvements in the Windows 10 PC hardware configurations as well as some fixes in several gameplay issues.
There are also some gameplay changes like the decrease of XP awarded for banking Skill Chains. Horizon Edition cars can now also correctly display the bonus for Wheelspins while the three-star score target for the Drift Zones have been reduced. The Drift Zones include Mountain Scramble, Mountain Foot, Reservoir and Gold Mine.
The next DLC for "Forza Horizon 3" is expected to come out sometime in November.
