'Friday the 13th: The Game' close beta session, gameplay update; Jason's capabilities exposed; is it possible to kill him?

There are a number of gameplay footages from the close beta session of "Friday the 13th: The Game," which has gone live recently. These gave lots of clues about the title's storyline and gameplay, creating a certain hype for the game. However, players are apparently clueless as to how they are going to take down Jason in the game.

According to several videos seen on YouTube, Jason possesses different strengths, weaknesses and capabilities, which were already seen in the movies. Baghead Jason can actually appear whenever and wherever, giving him the advantage to grab his victim.

To keep things fair, the start of the game gives details of Jason's abilities so that players can decide their strategy in playing the match.

However, recent news has it that the "Friday the 13th: The Game" players have been having a difficult time killing Jason. Players have been talking about this on several online forums, sparking the possibility that it is impossible to kill Jason. Some are asking if the camp counselor characters are able to take down Jason.

In a report by Gamerant, the beta players of "Friday The 13th: The Game" found out that there is a way to kill Jason when taking the role as a camp counselor. A Redditor with the username johno619 claimed that he received an anonymous message the Jason can be defeated, but can never be killed. The player also listed his own ways on how he tried to defeat Jason, but still unsuccessful.

As for some bonuses along the way, YouTube user CharminEXSoft Gaming revealed that players will have to reach level 14 in order to face Baghead Jason. At the mentioned level, Jason can spring and get deep into the water to get travel bonuses.

Another player who goes by the name XpertThief also showed a video on how to survive the fatal attacks of Jason.

"Friday the 13th: The Game" is still on its close beta session for PC. The full game will be out for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One.
