If two Season 4 episodes and a Season 5 trailer screened in IMAX theaters this January are not enough, "Game of Thrones" fans need not fret too much since the hit fantasy series is returning with fresh new episodes in April.

Thrones addicts can finally have a lengthy look at the show's upcoming season through a "mysterious" and "cryptic" special which HBO has confirmed will be aired for the show's loyal followers on Feb. 8.

In a statement on Entertainment Weekly, the cable company revealed that the special is titled "Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life," a half-hour documentary that covers one day of Season 5.

"(It) covers one day of Season 5 production on three different Thrones sets in three different countries – Belfast, Northern Ireland; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Sevilla and Osuna, Spain," HBO told Entertainment Weekly.

"The special follows key crew members and promises to highlight the epic sets, renowned cast and global scale of Thrones, as well as the more intimate and individual challenges of our subjects, giving the audience a new perspective on one of the most elaborate productions in television history," it said.

HBO said "A Day in the Life" will premiere on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. before returning with a bunch of news about dragons, midgets, and practically all the colorful characters from Westeros on April 12.

The network made the announcement after an eagle-eyed fan discovered about the mystery special, which happened the following week when HBO and IMAX moved the premiere of two re-mastered Season 4 episodes of Thrones in about 200 theaters in the United States from the earlier Jan. 23 screening date to Jan. 29.

HBO and IMAX are also adding 50 more cinemas that will screen the re-mastered episodes of "Game of Thrones," bringing the total of participating IMAX theaters to 200 instead of the initial 150.

The presentation, based on the book series of author George R. Martin, can be seen in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York, San Antonio, Seattle, Toronto, Washington, D.C. and other cities.

Tickets will not be available for purchase from the IMAX website until Jan. 16. The IMAX website has reportedly been down due to heavy traffic.

"Game of Thrones" holds the distinction of being the first T.V. series to ever receive a run in the super-sized cinema format. It has become HBO's most popular series of all time with an average of 19 million viewers per episode last season, Entertainment Weekly reported.
