'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers, plot rumors: New Teaser Reveals Fate of Jon Snow
Game of Thrones Season 6 was originally commissioned by HBO on April 8, 2014. This allowed more time for its fan base to grow even larger between the third and fourth seasons. Since then, the fifth and sixth seasons were already commissioned simultaneously.
The newest season has ten episodes which began filming in late July last year (2015) and ended on Dec. 17. Now, its much sought-after premiere will be on April 24, 2016. That's more than enough time for those who haven't watched the early seasons yet.
Spoiler Alert Below
After Bran Stark's absence in the previous season, it is confirmed that Isaac Hempstead Wright will play the role of Bran in the return of the series. Bran's return in the season will mean that Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) and Hodor (Kristian Nairn) are most likely back too. Would this entail his miraculous recovery? There's only one way to find out.
Another thing to watch out for in the forthcoming season is whether Jon Snow will survive the fatal stabbing he encountered in season 5, although a video teaser was released featuring Jon front and center. This could mean that he is alive. Or it could be what was shown in the teaser was only one of Bran's many visions or maybe it could also mean that Jon Snow will transform into a ghost.
Another video teaser featured the disembodied heads of Ned and Joffrey together with Jon Snow. Even the heads of Daenerys, Sansa, and Tyrion were also featured in the teaser.
The season's very first full trailer was revealed on March 8, assuring the fan base that another season with jam-packed episodes will definitely come. The trailer features quick shots of Bran with the Night's King, Zombie mountain, Jon Snow's death on a slab, and so much more.
There's still more to watch out for in the Season 6 of the Game of Thrones so brace yourselves and get your popcorns and sodas ready.
