Fans of the hit comedy-drama TV series created by Amy Sherman-Palladino "Gilmore Girls" probably never imagined that the show will be revived years after it ended. But the reunion is actually happening. In a few more weeks, viewers can catch "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" exclusively on Netflix.

The upcoming series will air on Netflix this coming Nov. 25. So far, the network has only confirmed one season, which will have four episodes. Each episode will run for 90 minutes and each will highlight the lives of the characters during each of the four seasons of the year— winter, spring, summer and fall.

Recently, Netflix teased fans with another trailer for its revival of the "Gilmore Girls" franchise, which is now titled "A Year in the Life." More importantly, fans can expect Alexis Bledel to reprise her role as Rory and Lauren Graham to return as Lorelai. The show will pick up 10 years after the events of the final episode of the original series.

In the trailer, Lorelai can be heard saying, "Did we order Chinese, Greek, and Italian food last night?" which indicates that some things haven't changed in the Gilmore household. Apart from the usual quirks of the Gilmore family, the recent trailer also revealed the cast members who will be returning to the show.

Aside from the mother-duo, fans can expect the original series' cast members — Kelly Bishop, Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Sean Gunn, Keiko Agena, Jared Padalecki, and Milo Ventimiglia — to reprise their roles in the upcoming series.

The first episode of the original "Gilmore Girls" series aired on Oct. 5, 2000. After seven successful seasons, the show bade goodbye to its fans on May 20, 2007.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will premiere on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 25.

Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming revival series of "Gilmore Girls."
