The Disney spin-off series to "Boy Meets World" has been officially canceled after three seasons, and the show might end with the Matthews family moving to London. Meanwhile, the most of the cast members of "Boy Meets World" will be appearing in the finale episode to help out Topanga (Danielle Fishel) with a decision.

It was confirmed by Girl Meets Writers Twitter account only two weeks ago that "Girl Meets World" is officially ending.

The announcement was made with a series of tweets, beginning with "It is with incredible pride in our work and complete sadness that things end, that I report to this wonderful audience that our show is over."

"Girl Meets World" will be ending with a two-part episode titled "Girl Meets Goodbye" that might see the end of Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya's (Sabrina Hart) friendship.

According to Variety, the episode will feature Topanga struggling to decide whether she will accept a job opportunity in London. Given the title, it seems that Topanga will be accepting the job and will relocate her entire family to London. Rowan will then say her goodbyes to her best friend, Maya.

TV Line reported that cast members from "Boy Meets World" will be helping out Topanga in making her decision. The characters that are said to appear include Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), Mr. Turner (Anthony Quinn), Eric Matthews (Will Friedle), Alan (William Russ), Amy (Betsy Randle), Minkus (Lee Norris), Harley (Danny McNulty), Morgan no. 1 (Lily Nicksay), Morgan no. 2 (Lindsay Ridgeway), and Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong), Cory's (Ben Savage) best friend.

The cast shared their sentiments about what "Girl Meets World" means to them and how the show has tackled important issues in society in an exclusive feature.

Savage said, "We make a fun show about real issues. We do it in a fun, relatable way and I think people appreciate that."

Series creator Michael Jacobs also added, "We want to say that the glory of life is to have a friendship which you know will sustain you as long as you live."

The finale episode of "Girl Meets World" airs this Friday, Jan. 20, at 6 p.m. ET on Disney.
