Some players in the National Basketball Association are often seen as superheroes, doing superhuman things and leaving the fans in awe.

However, there are some who relish the role of being the villain and that is Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors.

Since arriving at the NBA in the 2012–13 season, Green has established himself as one of the most intense players in the game, and he has also built a reputation that people love to hate him.

For anyone outside the Warriors fan base, Green is often a targeted man and people have their opinion on him.

That has certainly taken a turn for the worse as the Warriors are now a stacked team with the arrival of Kevin Durant.

The Warriors were considered as title contenders, but with Durant in the lineup, the team is heavily favored to win it all even this early in the preseason.

Of course, it will draw ire from everyone, but Green is taking it all in stride, even saying that it will be fun for him when they can win after being booed by the crowd.

Green told reporters, "They're gonna boo us anyway everywhere we go, so that's fine. The most fun I have in this game is going on another team's floor and quieting their crowd anyway. So boo. Then eventually you'll shut up. And I'll laugh. We'll laugh. And we'll keep it moving."

The Warriors clearly have a mission and that is to win a championship. Green certainly knows this and does not let the crowd dictate how the team will fare on the floor.

Green knows that they are not in for a warm welcome when they visit other courts in the season, as he claims that the Warriors were already booed despite playing for Team USA in the Olympics.

One thing is certain and that is the new season has a new dimension on how the Warriors will cope with the villain role they have, as they have to embrace it even if they did not necessarily choose it.
