Golden State Warriors trade rumors: Warriors eye young center to complete lineup

The Golden State Warriors seem to be getting better every game and now they hold a 7-2 record and place second in the Pacific Division.

Despite having one of the most complete lineups in the league, the Warriors started rather shaky, losing their first game against the San Antonio Spurs.

They have improved and are now looking to fix the holes in their game, but talks are circulating that they may be in the market for a center to help them in their interior defense.

Rumors are linking the Philadelphia 76ers' Nerlens Noel to be the possible target of the Warriors as they try to get a decent center to make them unstoppable. In return, the Warriors are rumored to be giving up former NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala.

Iguodala started his career with the Sixers before moving to the Denver Nuggets and then the Warriors. His role has moved as his career progressed. He has become a starter, the team's best player and now role player with the Warriors but has remained important in the team he plays for.

Iggy averages 13.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. Not only is he great in the offensive end, but he is also one of the better perimeter defenders in the league. He is quick and lengthy as he can stop other teams' stars from dominating the game.

However, Iggy is now 32 years old and the Warriors might need to deal him in order to get the younger Noel.

Still recovering from an injury, Noel has a great upside and his averages show that he may be what the Warriors are lacking.

Noel does not score much as he averages around 10 points per game, but he clocks in 8.1 rebounds per night and plays a mean defense. He averages a little less than two blocks per game and considering that he is only 22 years old, Noel has a potentially long career ahead of him.

The Warriors are looking to continue their new look and this trade may be a step towards the right direction.
