As the developers of the Android operating system, Google seems locked for a bright future when it comes to the mobile phone business.

Outside of the iOS, the Android phones dominate the market, and they are available in various price ranges, shapes and sizes.

However, Google always remains focused on facing their Apple rivals, and they certainly do that by releasing Google Nexus phones.

Google has tried many different things to cater to what people need. For instance, they launched the Nexus 4 as a small phone that fit the current trend at the time, which was a handy mobile that could fit in any pocket.

However, the tech giant has also made mobile phones that easily looked like tablets and it was on full display with the Nexus 6.

While the look and size may always differ, the thing that remains constant is that Google is not afraid to try out different manufacturers when it comes to the hardware.

Google has made their Nexus phones with LG, like the Nexus 5X, and Huawei with the Nexus 6P.

Recent speculations reveal that Google is possibly landing a new Nexus phone with the Taiwan-based manufacturer HTC.

As revealed by Gizmochina, HTC is currently developing a phone that will be dubbed as the Nexus phone for 2016. The release is said to be sometime in October, as Google always releases their flagship phone around that time.

HTC is not a new brand to handle a Google Nexus phone. Aside from churning out their own handhelds, the brand was also responsible for Google's Nexus 9 tablet which was released back in 2014.

The tablet was one of the best during the time, with a dual-core processor and impressive camera lenses, and HTC proved that they can cater to the ever-changing market and needs of Google users.

As for the price of the upcoming Nexus phone, ExpertReviews believe that it could be around £300 to £440 or $395 to $580.
