Apparently, Google has tapped HTC to help them produce the new smartphone. Google and the Taiwanese tech company are said to have come up with a deal to manufacture a powerful handset to compete with the best in the market today.
According to Android Police, the much larger Nexus Marlin will sport a 5.5-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. There are speculations saying that the device will run on a quad-core processor from Qualcomm and it will be paired with 4 gigabyte of RAM.

There are reports saying that the Nexus Marlin will come in two versions – the one with 12GB of storage, while the other has 32 GB of storage capacity. Fans and critics are expecting it to have a microSD slot for the expanded storage options.
Meanwhile, the Google Nexus Sailfish will be smaller than the other variants as it only has a 5-inch screen. It will also carry a 2770 mAh battery. As of the moment, details about the Sailfish are not as rampant as the Marlin; however, it is only a matter of time before rumors about the device will explode all over the Internet.
