Popular tipster Evan Blass recently revealed several details on Twitter about the upcoming Google Nexus 2016.
Although Google has yet to issue an official statement with regard to the development and the release of Google Nexus 2016, fans and critics have already shared their predictions on what to expect once the highly anticipated device arrives in the market.
According to reports, the smartphone with codename Marlin will carry a 5.5-inch screen with a QHD display. The device will run on the latest Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm, which will be paired with 4 GB of RAM. The device will also carry a 12 GB storage capacity, which is expected to be expandable via microSD. The device will also have a bigger battery at 3450mAh.
Other features of "Marlin" include a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter.
Meanwhile, the alleged HTC Sailfish will come out with a smaller display at 5.2-inches. According to reports, it will have almost the same specs as the Marlin except for its removable battery at 2770 mAh.
There are speculations suggesting that both Google Nexus 2016 versions are going to arrive in September, which is in the same timeframe of Apple's release date of its new iPhone 7. However, Google has yet to confirm these reports.
