It is anticipated that the new operating system that Google has created, known as the Andromeda, will be used in the upcoming Nexus 7 tablet. Meanwhile, there may be two variants of the Nexus 7 introduced to the market when it debuts.

According to 9to5google, Google is planning to equip two new gadgets with their new Andromeda OS. These two devices are said to be the Google Nexus 7 Huawei-made tablet and a "convertible laptop" known as Bison.

The Andromeda OS is a hybrid of Google's Chrome and Android operating systems, which is anticipated to take over all of Google made devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones, Forbes reports. One of the steps taken by Google in creating the Andromeda hybrid OS is having Chromebooks equipped with Android apps, which was established earlier this year.

It was reported that Google is already trying out the Andromeda on the Nexus 9 because of hardware and resource constraints, but it won't be the Nexus 9' permanent operating system.

Meanwhile, University Herald reports that when the Nexus 7 is introduced to the market, come out in two variants. The difference between the two will be their operating systems. One will have the Andromeda OS, and the other will only be equipped with an Android OS.

There are speculations that Google will be releasing the Nexus 7 tablets to target Apple's iPad Pro users. By 2017, Apple is planning to introduce a new iPad Pro 2 that is anticipated to feature an improved navigation system and more applications where the Apple Pencil can be of use.

Given that Huawei has a good reputation in creating devices with a good variety of features, plus the fact that their devices are priced lower, the Nexus 7 tablets might have a fighting chance in grabbing some of the Apple iPad Pro patrons.

It is expected that Google will introduce the new Nexus 7, Bison, and the new Andromeda OS altogether.

The Google Nexus 7 is expected to debut by the end of 2017.
