Despite the lack of confirmation and official announcement on the release of the much touted GoPro Hero5, speculations about the design and other specs of the new action camera model as well as expectations of how it will distinguish itself from its predecessors have been continuously circulating on the web.

The GoPro Hero5 is said to bring forth better convenience and more efficiency than the previous GoPro offerings. To be available in different variants, the Hero5 will be catering to a wide range of markets.

According to Value Walk, the GoPro Hero5 will weigh less than the past releases in the company's Hero series. This is an improvement in the action camera that can guarantee enhanced handiness of the device. The GoPro Hero5 will be extremely lightweight and will even be reportedly the lightest to be released by the brand that it is to weigh less that the Session's 74g. As Nicholas Woodman, CEO of GoPro, Inc., said during the company's earnings conference call, it is the Hero5 that will be the "most connected and convenient" GoPro the company will ever make.

The GoPro Hero5 is expected to be launched with multiple variants. Two of the much anticipated variants are the Hero5 Silver and the Hero5 Black. The GoPro Hero5 Silver will feature a touchscreen functionality while the GoPro Hero5 Black will bear the most state-of-the-art action camera elements. The camera manufacturing giant is out to cover both of the inexpensive and the costlier superior ends of the market.

There are widespread speculations about the specs of the imminent GoPro Hero5. It is said that the device will have the capacities to shoot in 8K resolution at 60 frames per second. At this early stage of reports on speculated progress toward the release of GoPro Hero5, there is also the notable focus on its simplicity for greater user experience. With ease and uncomplicatedness as goals of the new GoPro Hero, it is said that there will be reduction of parts and buttons.
