'Gotham' Season 1 Spoilers: New Characters Joining Show
Now that the holidays are over, our favorite shows have returned on screen. One of them is "Gotham." During the mid-season finale of the crime drama series' Season 1 on Nov. 24, 2014, we saw Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) escaping from their kidnappers.
"Gotham" returned last Jan. 5 on Fox for Episode 11 to start Part 2 of its first season. Episode 12, titled "What the Bird Told Him," will air this Jan. 19, Monday, 7 p.m. Central Time.
In the last episode, James Gordon (Ben Mckenzie), reassigned to guard duty at Arkham Asylum, probed the attacks on the prisoners there, finding out that Nurse Dorothy Duncan was also an inmate.
The official synopsis for Episode 12 reads: "In an attempt to get his job back, Gordon seeks to capture Jack Gruber (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl), a deranged electrical genius who escapes Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Falcone struggles to hold onto his empire after Fish Mooney makes her next move."
Now that there is a new "place" in town, this gives more room for additional characters such as Morena Baccarin of "Homeland," who will be joining the cast as Dr. Leslie Thompkins.
Guest stars will include Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean, Kevin McCormick as Danzig, Dash Mihok as Detective Arnold Flass, Peter Scolari as Commissioner Loeb, Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, David Zayas as Maroni, Christopher Heyerdahl as Jack Gruber, Anthony Carrigan as Victor Zsasz, Adrian Martinez as Irwin, Victor Cruz as Desk Sergeant, Caroline Lagerfelt as Mrs. Kean and Richard Poe as Mr. Kean.
Stay tuned as "Gotham" airs next Monday, Jan. 19 on Fox.
