'Gravity Rush 2' demo release out now; 'Gravity Rush Overture' promo video comes on Dec. 26
Avid enthusiasts of "Gravity Rush 2" will soon be playing the title that they have been anticipating ever since Sony announced that it will give a free demo play starting Dec. 22. It is only just a few hours and the game will be up for a free demo.
As per the PlayStation official website, SCEA associate project manager Nick Accordino announced that there will be two paths available in the free play. He wrote, "There are two paths through this demo — one for those who are new to Gravity Rush, and another for those that are more familiar with Kat's powers — so no matter your level of gravity-defying experience, please be sure to give it a shot!"
This is indeed a wonderful surprise for players who have been waiting for the release of "Gravity Rush 2," since they still have to wait for a few more weeks before they can acquire the game.
As of this time, the "Gravity Rush 2" demo has not yet been released, but it is expected to come any minute now. The PlayStation (PS4) demo can be accessed via the PlayStation Store.
Aside from the free demo, Accordino also announced that they are releasing a new video of the much-awaited anime series, "Gravity Rush Overture," on Dec. 26. Fans can view the video at exactly 8:00 a.m. PT. The series will connect the happenings of the original "Gravity Rush" and its sequel.
Fans were dismayed when "Gravity Rush 2" was supposed to be released this year but was instead moved to early next year. According to Sony, since the title will be the end of Kat's story, they want to give players ample time to immerse in her journey.
"Gravity Rush 2" is up for release on Jan.18, 2017 in Europe and Australia, Jan. 19 in Japan and Jan. 20 in the United Kingdom and in the North America.
