'Gravity Rush 2' free demo update: Kat's Luna, Jupiter mode revealed; 'Gravity Rush Overture' releases today
Before "Gravity Rush 2" is released, a free demo play is ongoing to allow players to get a feel of the game. This is a special treat for all enthusiasts as they can see what the game has in store for them.
The "Gravity Rush 2" free play started on Dec. 22 while its anime version, "Gravity Rush Overture," will release its two-part episode today. In an article by Techno Buffalo, the 20-minute video shows all the substantial details of the anime, especially of the characters.
"Gravity Rush 2 Overture" characters include Syd, Raven and Kat, who gave the fans a few glimpse of their story. Syd is said to be more interesting than in the original title, while Kat has a more in-depth storyline that was not seen before. Also included in the short clip is the crow of Raven, as well as the cat of Kat.
The publication noticed, however, that the video has hastened its storyline, causing the entire scene to become vague.
Meanwhile, back to the "Gravity Rush 2" free demo, there are two modes available in the game. There is one for those who are fond of Kat and her capabilities and there is also another specially dedicated to the new players of "Gravity Rush." The two modes reach out to both the newbies and the veterans, which is a good thing to keep the loyalty of the fans and attract new players to try the game.
Kat, the main character, takes the players on a journey in which they have to face the main antagonist, Nevi. "Gravity Rush 2" includes the abilities of Kat, as well new powers that players will discover. In fact, the Luna mode and Jupiter mode are announced to be the hero's new forms when she is manipulating gravity.
"Gravity Rush 2" demo can be accessed through the PlayStation website and it will be released on Jan. 18, 2017. "Gravity Rush Overture" can be viewed on the PlayStation's YouTube channel.
