Milwaukee Bucks trade rumors 2016: Greg Monroe on the trade block for the Bucks

After finishing the season with a 33-49 record, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to change things up as rumor has it that big man Greg Monroe is being shopped.

The Bucks finished 12th in the Eastern Conference but were battling for playoff spots early in the season as a sign of their continued improvement.

They had great performances from their young core which had Monroe, Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

However, they still fell short and it appears that the Bucks believe that the better thing to do is to part ways with their center forward.

According to RealGM, the Bucks are expected to trade Monroe in the early parts of the off-season as they believe Monroe and the Bucks are not a perfect fit.

The article also quoted an agent saying that Monroe is expected to be out before the new season begins. "I'd be shocked if Monroe was on the Bucks' roster next season," the agent said.

According to HoopsHabit, the Atlanta Hawks may be a good destination for Monroe as the Hawks are known to improve the output of their big men, similar to what happened to Al Horford and Paul Millsap. If they can improve Monroe's defence, then he can up his stock and improve as an overall player.

The Indiana Pacers may also be a good team for Monroe as there are a lot of big players in the team and Monroe will definitely fit in. With a relatively young squad, Monroe can act as the team's veteran voice as they try to move back to the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.

With the Bucks, Monroe averaged 15.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. There will be a lot of teams trying to get his services, but the most important thing they should consider is that while they are getting a potent big man on the offensive end, they must be aware that Monroe is still a work in progress for defensive end.
