'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 episode 13 spoilers: Alex, Jo, and DeLuca in a love triangle?

DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) has called off the trial, but he's not yet willing to forgive Alex (Justin Chambers), and it might be because of unexpected feelings for Jo (Camilla Luddington). Meanwhile, Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) stand in Grey Sloan is uncertain now that Bailey (Chandra Wilson) replaced her with Kepner (Sarah Drew).

Previously on "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, DeLuca retracted the trial against Alex, but it's not because he's forgiven him. DeLuca did it because of Jo, and it's possible that they have developed feelings for each other.

In an interview with Variety, Chambers shared that Jo could have fallen for DeLuca's chivalry. "There might be a love triangle. There might not be. You'll have to stay tuned," Chambers added.

However, Chambers explained that "Grey's Anatomy" has always been about redemption and that there is still more for Alex and Jo's relationship. The actor also thinks that Alex is hopeful that he can mend his relationship with DeLuca by being a good mentor to him, but the latter might continue to shrug him off.

Meanwhile, Bailey put Meredith out of her job by putting Kepner on her spot. The synopsis for episode 13, titled "It Only Gets Much Worse," reads as follows: "The residents are excited for Eliza's (Marika Dominczyk) next phase of teaching, but they spend the day caught between the warring attendings. Meanwhile, April has a challenging first day in her new role at the hospital."

Meredith was kicked out because of her defiance to Eliza's new reign in Grey Sloan, and there's no certainty how it will all work out since the other attendings still refuse to accept the new doctor.

Chambers shared that his character will be there to support Meredith, just like she did with all that's happened to him.

"They're definitely like two peas in a pod — they're like siblings. I think he agrees with her about Minnick and we'll see what happens," Chambers teased.
