Jackson (Jesse Williams) has decided that he will no longer tolerate Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) as Webber's (James Pickens Jr.) replacement and confronts his mother about his decision. Meanwhile, Jackson and April will work on a case together that might take them one step back to each other.

On the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, titled "Civil War," Jackson will confront his mother, Catherine (Debbie Allen), about replacing Dr. Webber with newcomer Eliza Minnick as head of teaching program in Grey Sloan.

As seen from a sneak peek, Jackson tries to talk to his mother about reversing what she did in the hospital. When Jackson tries to take command and his mother belittles his influence on the board, he puts his foot down and tells her his decision.

"You started this by effectively ousting Richard Webber, which by the way our rank-and-file finds completely unacceptable. I'm gonna be making the decisions from now on. I'm gonna go to the governing board. I'm gonna get Richard back in and Minnick out. I'm going over your head," said Jackson.

But it seems that Jackson won't be having the last word as he gets into a heated situation together with Catherine, Richard, and April (Sarah Drew) while working on a patient.

Meanwhile, Jackson and April will be working on a case in Montana on an upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13. The assignment will give the couple some quiet time, which might bring them closer together and finally work on rekindling their marriage.

In a previous interview with Moviefone, Drew teased that the episode is dedicated to Jackson and April and that "it's really pivotal for the two of them, individually and also as a pair."

Drew also believes that Jackson and April are meant to be together and that they only need to get past their issues.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 airs every Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
