Other Grey Sloan Medical doctors might be heading to jail in the midseason premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13.

Toward the end of the winter finale, Alex (Justin Chambers) was considering to take the plea deal for assaulting Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) when Jo (Camilla Luddington) revealed the reason why she cannot testify for him in court. But Alex doubted his decision when he heard his best friend Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) voice out her support for him.

This left a big cliffhanger at the end of the winter finale since Alex has yet to finalize his decision about the plea deal for his case.

On the other hand, the second half of season 13 will begin with three doctors heading to the maximum security women's prison. But this time, Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Jo will spend time in the prison facility to deal with a difficult patient.

Wetpaint posted a synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "You Can Look (But You'd Better Not Touch)," which reads: "Bailey, Arizona and Jo go to a maximum security women's prison to treat a violent, 16-year-old pregnant girl and her unborn baby."

Meanwhile, executive producer Shonda Rhimes told TVLine that Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) will continue with their co-parenting setup in the second half of season 13. "It's such a positive thing to watch our characters behave as fully formed adults who know how to co-parent," Rhimes stated. "What's great is that parenting has nothing to do with their storyline this season — it gets much more interesting than you'd imagine," she added.

However, she did not reveal if Jackson and April will finally get back together for their new baby.

ABC will air the midseason premiere episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 on Thursday, Jan. 19, as part of Shondaland's "Thank God it's Thursday" block.
