The latest teaser poster for "Grimm" season 6 shows a menacing-looking Nick. Will he tap into his dark side in the upcoming season?

Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee) made a heart-wrenching decision in the season 5 finale when she chose to stay with Renard (Sasha Roiz) for the sake of her daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd). That marked what seemed to be the end of her and Nick's (David Giuntoli) relationship.

Nevertheless, in an interview with Parade, Coffee confirmed that Adalind's ultimate wish is to get back to Nick and build a family with him and their baby, Kelly. The actress also said the upcoming season could see Adalind leaving her "evil roots" so she could hop on over to the right side with Nick and the Scooby Gang.

Meanwhile, "Grimm" season 6 will see circumstances from past seasons hounding Nick and leading him to a deeper mayhem. His aunt and mother were both killed as he was "on duty" as a Grimm. Even the romantic aspect of his life was affected by his connection to the Wesen world.

He recently spoke at the Armageddon Expo in New Zealand, and according to Game n Guide, Giuntoli said Nick would be a different person in season 6, embracing his violent side.

"Nick has gone through a lot of different phases of superpowers but those kinds of tailed off as the episodes go on," he said. "I think they want to take Nick to – I don't know about superpowers – but I know they want to turn him into a fierce, aggressive, kind of unhinged character, so that will be really fun to play for me."

As the menacing Nick, there is a possibility that he would finally defeat Renard and the Black Claw. This is something that has been speculated on several times already, and fans have been anticipating the time when Nick embraces his supernatural powers and becomes an unstoppable, destructive force. If the latest poster is anything to go by, it looks like that is the direction Nick is heading in "Grimm" season 6.

In related news, the cast of "Grimm" would be at the San Diego Comic-Con for a question and answer panel slated for July 23. David Giuntoli, Bitsie Tulloch, Claire Coffee, Sasha Roiz, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, and Bree Turner have confirmed their attendance. David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf will also be present at the panel.

"Grimm" season 6 will be aired this fall on NBC. However, the exact air date is expected to be announced at the SDCC.
