'Grimm' season 6 spoilers: Nick and Adalind's romance to meet bitter end?

Will Adalind (Claire Coffee) and Nick (David Giuntoli) end up together in "Grimm" season 6? | NBC/Scott Green

"Grimm" season 6 will mark the end of the series, but if the rumors are to be believed, a fairytale one will not be how things will wrap up for Nick (David Giuntoli) and Adalind (Claire Coffee).

Fans were intrigued about the tweet sent out on the official Twitter account of the show. It was an art by a fan showing the note Adalind left Nick when she went with Renard (Sasha Roiz) to protect her children.

According to some, it was a warning that "Grimm" season 6 will not end well for the couple. Looking at the circumstances, it would seem that this will be the case.

For starters, Renard and Adalind's child Diana (Hannah R. Lloyd) would literally kill to make sure her parents return to each other's arms. Knowing her immense power, she might end up killing Nick if he decides to get in the way.

Diana has already shown what she is capable of and she clearly is not one to mess with even for a guy like Nick, who is focused on getting his family to safety in "Grimm" season 6.

Apart from Diana, there is also the fact that Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) is crawling back from where Juliette (Tulloch) buried her, which means that he return could cut short Nick and Adalind's romance.

During an interview with TVInsider, Giuntoli admitted that his character has fallen in love with Adalind and will stop at nothing to protect her and their child.

"Nick is now in love with a Hexenbiest and they have a child. Nick's also gotta be thinking, "Does Juliette know she killed my mother, when she was Eve?" And who is actually responsible for that death? If it was Juliette, Nick couldn't forgive her," the actor said.

If it happened as a side effect from Juliette becoming Adalind—which she was trying to do for Nick's benefit—then I guess he would have to forgive her. So all that is yet to be discovered. But, right now, it's all too much for Nick to take in," he added.

From the looks of it, Nick's love life will be very complicated come "Grimm" season 6 when it premieres January next year.
