There's a lot of hype and anticipation for "Grand Theft Auto VI" despite the lack of official confirmation from developer Rockstar Games. Nevertheless, there are a lot of rumors and speculations regarding the highly anticipated sixth main installment in the open world action-adventure video game franchise. Now, it has been suggested that a demo may be arriving sometime in 2017.

According to the latest reports, Rockstar will be releasing a playable demo of "GTA VI" based on a gameplay trailer that was released. It was said that the new title will come with enhanced graphics, a new narrative and a lot of different side missions.

While this touted trailer has recently come to light, upon closer inspection, one will see that it was actually released back in February 2015. Furthermore, it is evident that the footage was not released by Rockstar. Nevertheless, the fact that it has more than 20.1 million views clearly proves that "GTA" fans are clamoring for a new installment.

Despite the lack of official news for "GTA VI," Rockstar is actually still very active in providing support for its previous "GTA" titles.

Earlier this week, Rockstar released a new PC patch for "GTA IV," the first one in over six years. While no new features were introduced, it brought bug fixes and provided compatibility for newer versions of the Windows operating system. It's nice to know that the game developer is still paying attention to its older titles.

Meanwhile, new content will be coming to "GTA Online" later this month. Titled Import/Export, players will be given the chance to enter the profitable field of high-volume exotic car theft.

"Import/Export introduces a whole new series of criminal pursuits as CEOs and their organizations boost, modify and resell the most wanted vehicles in the city for big profits," Rockstar said.

Furthermore, players will have to stay vigilant in order to stay one step ahead of the police and other rivals hoping to gain supremacy in this specialized industry.

As "GTA Online" continues to be a highly lucrative endeavor for Rockstar, it is expected that they will continue to provide support for the online game mode for the foreseeable future. This is seen as possibly contributing to the delay of "GTA VI." As such, it is believed that "GTA VI" could arrive in 2018 at the earliest.
