'GTA 6' release date rumors: Next title to feature 3 major cities from around the world?
"GTA 6" has been making a lot of noise lately as rumors have started to become rampant again. There have been contradicting reports with regard to the upcoming development and release of the open world action-adventure video game's sixth installment. A new speculation has emerged suggesting that "GTA 6" might be set in places such as Tokyo, London and San Diego.
Although game developer Rockstar Games has yet to confirm these reports, industry observers have reasons to believe that the game will be set in London. Apparently, they base their assumptions on the fact that most of the people involved in developing the franchise are British.
There are also speculations suggesting that the upcoming title will feature a world map that allows gamers to travel from one continent to another. Some people think that the idea is too ambitious; however, several fans are hoping that the game developer will make it happen one day.
Previous reports have also suggested Tokyo as the next city that will be featured in the series. However, there are fans and critics who are saying that "GTA 6" will most likely to feature another American city, and this time it will be set in San Diego. Nevertheless, this has yet to be seen as Rockstar Games, along with its parent company Take-Two Interactive has yet to provide an official statement regarding "GTA 6."
Meanwhile, there are reports saying that the sixth installment of the franchise may not come out until 2018; however, there are rumors suggesting that the game will arrive in 2020. According to reports, Rockstar's plan is to release the upcoming title during the arrival of the next generation gaming consoles.
If rumors prove to be true, fans may have to wait for a few more years before having the opportunity to play another "GTA" title.
