'GTA 6' release date rumors and news: Rockstar to bring all maps from previous titles for 'GTA 6?'
Many fans were expecting Rockstar Games to provide solid details with regard to the rumored sixth installment of the "Grand Theft Auto 6" or "GTA 6." However, during the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the company decided to focus on the upcoming DLC pack for the current game of the franchise, "Grand Theft Auto 5." However, recent reports suggest that the company will soon provide concrete information regarding the highly anticipated "GTA 6."
In a report by Neurogadget, Rockstar Games is said to be planning to bring all the maps from the previous "GTA" titles to come up with the biggest game in the history of the series. However, there are speculations as stated by the publication that the next "GTA" game will take place in London. The rumor came after it was reported that "GTA 6" will be set in Tokyo, Japan. Nonetheless, nothing has been set in stone as of the moment and the company has yet to provide significant information about the game.
For now, all reports are merely just rumors and speculations until the company decides to confirm them.
There are also reports suggesting the Rockstar Games is planning to bring in worldwide maps to the game. Rumor has it that the game developer is trying to break away from the notion that "GTA" is exclusive to an American set up. It was previously revealed by Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games, that the company does not want players to believe that the game is all about the American culture.
"At the moment, it feels like GTA's DNA is contemporary-ish, American-ish, English-speaking-ish, because that's what it has been... But that doesn't necessarily limit it to those, that's just what we've done so far," Houser explained in a report by Digital Spy.
As of now, fans will have to wait for Rockstar Games to make an official announcement.
