'GTA Online' news and updates: Rockstar offering $250,000 in-game currency for all players

"GTA Online" is celebrating its 3rd year, and Rocktar has a treat prepared for everyone who is a member of the community. The developers are going to be giving $250,000 in-game currency for players of the game and not just that. They've also prepared some exclusive items for sale to celebrate the event.

According to VG247, players who want to avail of the offer will need to log in between now and Oct. 31. Some of the money is not set to appear until the 4th of November, so if players want to get their hands on that free $250k, they'll have to login in as soon as possible.

As for the special items, Rockstar has put a 30 percent discount on fan-favorite goods and different vehicles like the Groti Turismo R, the Besra Jet, the Aquarius Yacht, and the Valkyrie helicopter. A lot of items are on the list and the discount only lasts until Nov. 7.

In other news, rumors have gone out that there has been a leak on all Rockstar's planned DLC for "GTA Online" until the year 2020.Other than the Biker expansion, developers are also said to be releasing the "Law and Order" DLC and the "Luxury Living" DLC.

Some users online have found it best to take this information with a grain of salt. Though the person who posted about the DLC was right about previous hunches, it may be possible that the info comes from mining data from the game and the user is simply telling the community what it wants to hear.

"GTA Online" is said to still be going strong after three years, so players can expect that the developers are planning a lot of expansions in the future of the game.
