Disney and Marvel Studios have recently released a new international trailer for the upcoming superhero movie "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."

The trailer, subtitled in Japanese, features a lot of Baby Groot (Vin Diesel), who is seen misunderstanding instructions given by Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) about a bomb detonator. This clip in the trailer is proof that Baby Groot is still an important member of the superhero group despite his diminutive size.

In another scene, Baby Groot is seen standing on Rocket's shoulders, as they march, guns blazing, at their enemies. This is a reversal in one of the iconic scenes in the first movie in which Rocket Raccoon stood on Groot's shoulders as they attacked their enemies.

One scene in the Japanese trailer showed Gamora (Zoe Saldana) hurling herself onto the massive and squid-like Abilisk creature. Another clip features Drax (Dave Bautista) as he uses his blades to furiously stab the menacing creature.

As reported by Comicbook, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" continues the team's adventures as they travel to the outer areas of the galaxy. In the quest to unravel the mystery behind Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) parentage, the Guardians will find themselves fighting to keep their newfound family together.

Old enemies in the previous movie will become new allies. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand, fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will also be appearing the upcoming movie to aid the Guardians.

The upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie is written and directed by filmmaker James Gunn. All the members of the original Guardians are set to return for the sequel, such as Pratt, Saldana, Bautista, Diesel, and Cooper. Also appearing in the film are returning cast members Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin.

New cast members of the movie include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and Kurt Russell.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
