'Halo 5' DLC update features news 2016: Concept art for new DLC map, weapons revealed
"Halo 5: Guardians" will be featuring a bunch of new contents in the coming days with the arrival of a new free downloadable content for the game. Specifically, the said DLC is intended to expand the game's multiplayer mode. Just recently, 343 Industries has revealed the new concept art for the upcoming DLC pack, revealing a new map and new set of weapons.
The latest community update for "Halo 5: Guardians" included the new concept art that gives the players a first glimpse of the upcoming Arena battleground, VG 24/7 reported. Moreover, the new battleground map will be quite different from the previous maps already featured in the game, as it will be featuring an additional aesthetic to make the new arena special and more exciting.
Aside from the new DLC map, a new set of weapons, skins, and attachments were also previewed by the recently released concept art for "Halo 5: Guardians." One of the special weapons that the players should watch out for is the new quick draw Gunfighter Magnum. Specifically, this special firearm has a fast-reload magazine and iron sights.
As for the new weapon skins in the upcoming DLC, players can check out the preview for the Landgrave. There is another weapon skin teased in the concept art, although its name is not specified in the community update.
According to Game Rant, the fans of "Halo 5: Guardians" can expect a lot more than those showcased in the concept art. It appears that 343 Industries is still keeping a few new contents that are going to be included in the new expansion pack. The unnamed weapon skin that was shown together with Landgrave is said to make "at least one other person" stoked about it.
"Halo 5" is a hit first shooter video game developed by 343 Industries. It is published as an Xbox One exclusive. As of now, there is still no news regarding the release of the new multiplayer DLC.
