'Halo Wars: Definitive Edition' news update 2016: Microsoft rolls out codes for early access; 343 Industries reveals 'super secret' project
Those who have preordered the "Halo Wars: Definitive Edition" can now play the title as an early access bonus. Microsoft stated that they will send an email that contains the access codes to the early access players.
As of this time, the access codes have not been sent out yet. VG24/7 recommends players to refresh their email accounts from time to time to check if the email has arrived. Also, it may be a good idea to check the spam filter folder. Otherwise, players will have to wait for several days for the access code to be seen in their inboxes.
Once the code is received, players will have to visit Xbox.com so that they can start downloading the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition for Xbox One and PC. The great thing about it is that the game has a Play Anywhere feature so players can cross-save.
Meanwhile, game designer 343 Industries revealed the completed list of "Halo Wars: Definitive Edition" with 1,500 Gamerscore is up for grabs. There are several accomplishments seen from the first title while others are entirely new.
"Halo Wars: Definitive Edition" can be considered as an upgraded version of "Halo Wars," with the improvements made to it. Yes, the original title has been adapted, but it features in a way that the players can enjoy since it has more offers to be given out.
Players will have to opportunity to visit their early plays and relive the action-packed conflict of the UNSC and the Covenant.
Furthermore, 343 is said to have something up on their sleeves when the game designer's group manager said, "I can't really say anything of substance but yesterday we had a studio-wide presentation by Tim Longo, Halo Creative Director, on some super interesting topics pertaining to super-secret future stuff."
"All I can say is that I left that meeting feeling very excited," he added, according to Mobile & Apps.
