'Hannibal' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Finds A New Wife For Will Graham

Nina Arianda, the Tony Award-winning actress of the Broadway hit "Venus in Fur," will reunite with her onstage co-star Hugh Dancy, who plays Will Graham, in the latest season of the NBC horror series "Hannibal."

The Entertainment Weekly confirmed a report that Arianda will play Molly Graham, Dancy's new wife, when "Hannibal" returns for its third season later this year.

Arianda's recurring role will make her first appearance in the eighth episode of the horror thriller this coming summer.

TVLine, which first broke the report, described Arianda's character as "in her 30s, Molly is Will's new wife; she's also the mother of 12-year-old Walter."

"Molly is strong, vibrant, and has helped Will overcome his past. Molly knows all that has gone before and doesn't care," the NBC announced, according to TVLine.

"She understand Will is a good man and her love has allowed him to rebuild himself, but when Will is asked to return to the F.B.I. she also urges him to try and save lives, knowing what risks this entails," the network added.

Arianda's recurring character, Molly, will be introduced in Episode 8, an instalment that will jump ahead several years to allow for the transformation in Will's personal life.

Arianda's TV credits include guest stints on "30 Rock," "Hostages" and "The Good Wife."

No official start date has yet been announced for the upcoming "Hannibal" season, but it is expected to begin in early summer this year.

Earlier, David Tennant, the man known for being the 10th actor to play the iconic role of the British doctor in the TV series "Doctor Who," will reportedly join the NBC show.

Earlier, Tennant confirmed meeting Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller, hinting about the special appearance he would make in the series.

This would not be the first time for Tennant to join the cast of "Hannibal." In July last year, Fuller said he would love to work with the actor and is open to writing a script only for him. Tennant previously appeared in shows like "Gracepoint" and "Broadchurch."

The new season of "Hannibal" will reportedly explore some aspects of the plot in "Silence of the Lambs" and "Red Dragon."
