'Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone' release date news: now available in Europe and North America
Hatsune Miku has just invaded the western world as the Japan hit arcade game, "Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone," has been announced to be available in several locations in Europe and North America.
It was reported that a growing number of Hatsune Miku have been seen in the west, prompting the developers to release the franchise outside of its Japan territories. It was back in 2013 when "Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone" came out for PlayStation 4 (PS4). The arcade game was considered a hit with local players playing the musical diva traveling around Japan and performing in futuristic shows.
The title is focused on its musical gameplay and so no storyline is available. However, players get to choose hundreds of songs to play. The ported version has more than 200 songs that were featured in the arcade and console versions. These includes the hits of the main character, with variations of house beats, polka, ballad and more.
"Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone" will be out as a free download on the PlayStation Store. It will also come with two free demo songs. Those who want to get more songs, and more clothes for Hatsune Miku, can opt for the "Encore Packs" that is priced at $9.99 each. Each pack has different sets of modules and songs for players to choose from.
A Season Pass is also available, which is priced at $24.99. There are two more downloadable packs available — the "Future Sound" and the "Colorful Tone" packs. The packages have contents from the "Project Mirai" and the "Project Diva" titles. Both can be purchased for $53.99, but players can purchase either title by spending $29.99.
All these are available in France, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and the United States via the PlayStation Store. The three "Encore Packs," on the other hand, are scheduled to come out sometime in February until April.
