'Horizon: Zero Dawn' release date, latest news: Two trailers featuring Thunderjaw and Snapmaw machines released

Guerrilla Games recently released two new trailers for its upcoming action role-playing video game, "Horizon: Zero Dawn," featuring two of the machines in the game title.

The two trailers released for the forthcoming video game provide an in-depth look at the deadly machines Thunderjaw and Snapmaw.

According to GamingBolt, the Thunderjaw is supposed to be one of the deadliest machines gamers will encounter in the video game. Designed after the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex, the game is a powerful machine equipped with the highest caliber of offensive firepower as well as defensive shielding. To defeat it, gamers will have to exert a lot of effort and spend a lot of time studying the killing machine.

The Snapmaw, on the other hand, is a relatively more sedate machine. However, it can attack and hit hard whenever it feels threatened. The second trailer released by Guerilla Games details the Snapmaw and how best to approach the mechanized creature.

In "Horizon: Zero Dawn," players will take on the role of a skilled hunter named Aloy as they explore the vibrant and lush world of the game, which is inhabited by mysterious mechanized creatures. Gamers will embark on a compelling and emotional journey as they unravel the mysteries of tribal societies, ancient artifacts, and advanced technologies, with the fate of the fate of the planet (and life itself) hanging in the balance.

As reported by Coming Soon, the upcoming video game utilizes two contrasting elements: nature and technology. The marriage between a vibrant world rich with beautiful nature and awe-inspiring advanced technology reportedly creates a dynamic combination for both exploration and gameplay.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" recently went gold, with the developers having finished the majority of the work on the base game. The game title has also been sent off to manufacturers for copying and pressing.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" is scheduled to launch for the PlayStation 4 on Feb. 28 in the United States and on March 1 in Europe.
