The Houston Rockets are steadily trying to regain their status as an elite team in the Western Conference, but it appears there some rumors linking their best player to a move away.

At 6-4, the Rockets are led by James Harden and his performances as of late have been spectacular. In the first 10 games with the Rockets this season, Harden is averaging 30.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 12.6 assists.

After being moved to the point guard slot due to the team's needs, Harden has responded perfectly and showed that he is indeed the team's franchise player.

However, there have been talks that Harden could be on the move and it appears to be the Boston Celtics who have been showing interest in the superstar. Rumor has it that the Celtics are ready to give up some of their talents in order to land another superstar and return to their glory days.

The players involved are Avery Bradley, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart. However, the offer does not end there as the Celtics are also reportedly ready to give up two first round draft picks for Harden.

This might seem like a lot, but the Celtics may be eyeing a "win now" mentality given the talent already in their squad. The Celtics are deep at the moment with Jae Crowder and Isaiah Thomas coming back to lead the team. To help, they added Al Horford this year to help in the middle.

Unfortunately, it has not translated to immediate impact as the Celtics are at 5-5. In hopes of making a bigger impact, Harden is now linked to a move to the East.

This is a tough rumor to confirm at the moment and unless a move is made, it will remain pure speculation as Harden is one of the best players in the world today and it would be big if the Rockets part ways with him this early in the campaign.
