'How to Get Away With Murder' season 3 news, spoilers: Who killed Wes?
The person who is responsible for causing Wes (Alfred Enoch) to be the dead person under the sheet will be revealed at the return of season 3 next year, but there are three top choices as to who it might be.
In the midseason finale of "How to Get Away With Murder" season 3, Wes was discovered dead at the burnt down Keating house. Many are hoping that Wes' death is just part of a bigger plot, but it was also confirmed by Enoch in an interview with TV Line that his character is really dead, and no plot twist will be able to bring Wes back alive on the show.
During the final moments of the midseason finale episode, Nate (Billy Brown) discovered that Wes had already been killed even before the explosion. How Wes died and who did it is the biggest mystery that the season will unveil when it returns, but fans have already shortened their suspect list to two characters.
The character at the top of the suspect list is Connor (Jack Falahee). In "How to Get Away With Murder" season 3, Connor previously had an outburst of anger towards Wes when the cops went to his apartment to search for him. Connor blamed all the bad things that have happened to his life on Wes and threatened to kill him if Wes drags him under the police investigation.
Also, when Mikaela (Aja Naomi King), Oliver (Conrad Ricamora), Asher (Matt McGorry), and Bonnie (Liza Weil) were at the hospital, Connor suspiciously appeared when no one was able to contact him and tell him that they were at the hospital.
With Rebecca's (Katie Findlay) body discovered by the police, it is possible that Connor broke under pressure and offed Wes.
On the other hand, the second character on the suspect list is Frank (Charlie Weber). When the news broke out that Rebecca's body was discovered, Bonnie came to Frank and told him that he can fix it. It is possible that Bonnie suggested killing Wes since she, too, blames every bad thing that happened in the Keating house on Wes.
Frank was already desperate at the time to win back Annalise (Viola Davis), and he was willing to do anything at that point. Could he have killed Wes to save Annalise?
"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 returns on Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
