'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Was it Frank who actually pulled the trigger on Wallace?

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 finale episode saw another dead body with an unknown culprit at large. Avid fans tend to lean toward the theory that it was Frank (Charlie Weber) who was responsible for killing Wallace (Adam Arkin). Meanwhile, Weber talked about how his character has come to be so "evil" and almost incapable of remorse.

According to Weber in his interview with TV Line, his character murdering Wallace would make logical sense and would certainly fit the story. However, he maintained that he really has no idea who actually shot Wallace and what the reason behind the murder could be. What he knows for certain is that Arkin's character was a powerful businessman whose many enemies include Frank.

Weber also shared his thoughts about Frank. He believes that his character may not be innately bad but was made to transition from being a good guy to being a bad guy along the way due to circumstances involving him. This began from when he vowed to do anything for Annalise (Viola Davis) and in fulfilling that promise he in a way lost and never really recovered himself yet.

Weber also discussed Frank's moral ambiguity. The character who proves to be an enigma difficult to solve and fix seems to not know how to be consumed by guilt. He may not be essentially the standard definition of a "good" person but he does want to be the "good guy" who does things for the sake of Annalise. And this, in turn, makes him the bad guy in the eyes of many.

On the other hand, Annalise already found out about Frank's involvement in staging her accident years ago which killed her unborn son. She was beyond furious as she unhesitatingly ordered Bonnie (Liza Weil) to get rid of Frank. In the upcoming season of "How to Get Away with Murder," there is as well the question of whether or not there will be room for a change of heart for Annalise toward Frank and for her to allow for his return to the firm.

Fans will find out if their speculations are close to what actually happens in the third season of "How to Get Away with Murder" which will premiere on ABC later this year.
