HP Omen X 35 release date, specs, price news: Curved display with NVIDIA G-Sync delivers immersive gaming experience

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, HP was all about introducing a game-changer when it comes to gaming with the Omen X 35 curved display. The monitor is equipped with the latest technologies to ensure a dynamic and seamless gaming experience. With a very capable display, users also ensure that they see the full potential of their gaming rig.

The curved 35-inch diagonal display features a Wide Quad HD resolution with 3,400 x 1,440 pixels, a brightness of 300 nits, an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a contrast ratio of 2,500:1. Gamers won't be missing any action as the 1,800R curved display has a wider field of view with 34 percent more screen space compared to a 16:9 Quad HD display. It is also the first Omen display to feature NVIDIA G-Sync technology. With a higher 100 Hz refresh rate, stutter and lags are eliminated and gamers are able to benefit from realistic and true-to-life gaming experiences.

The HP Omen X 35 also features anti-glare surface treatment to minimize distractions. The curved display is able to tilt -5 to +23 degrees and the stand has a 130-mm range of travel so users can adjust the monitor to ensure maximum visibility with optimal levels of comfort. Furthermore, the curved display comes with micro-edge design so the almost invisible bezels contribute to immersive gaming sessions.

The Omen X 35 also comes with ambient lighting which enables users to customize lighting color to match their PC and other peripherals like the keyboard and mouse.

In terms of connectivity, there are three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI 1.4 output and one DisplayPort 1.2 interface. There is also one audio output and one headphone jack. Additionally, a built-in headphone hook will provide users with a quick way to store their headset when after playing with friends.

The Omen X 35 curved display will be available for purchase on HP.com and at select retailers beginning March for $1,299.99.
