For the past several weeks, it has been rumored that a new HTC smartphone will be released very soon. In fact, several leaked renders of the smartphone codenamed as HTC Bolt has circulated online. Just recently, there are reports that the HTC Bolt will finally be released, but only as a Sprinter exclusive product in the United States.

As reported by Techno Buffalo, the new HTC handset will finally arrive on November 11 in the United States. However, the latest reports suggest that the HTC Bolt will be available in Sprint at the moment. Even though the initial release of the handset will be limited, the features of the HTC Bolt will surely get the consumers' attention.

For one, the HTC Bolt is expected to sport a 5.5-inch screen with 2K display feature. The users will enjoy the handset's more vibrant and bolder visuals with its Quad HD display. It will also boast the new water and dust resistant technology that make the upcoming smartphone more durable than the previous models released by the tech company. Some people may point out that the HTC Bolt does not have Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7's IP687 water resistance, although it should be noted that the HTC Bolt's IP57 rating is enough to protect the device against accidental spill and moisture exposure.

According to GSM Arena, the HTC Bolt's IP57 water resistance rating allows the handset to stay submerged in water at least 1 meter deep. As for the device's camera features, the HTC Bolt will boast an increased resolution for its rear camera, going up to 16MP. The camera is also expected to have an OIS with good low-light performance. The new camera can record full 4K-supported video with 24-bit high-res audio.

GSM Arena also reported that the unveiling of the HTC Bolt will happen as early as November 11. However, HTC followers in other parts of the globe cannot expect the same release date as the handset will remain exclusive in the United States for the mean time. When the handset will finally be ready for a worldwide release, the HTC Bolt will be known as the HTC 10 Evo.
